We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions to assist in your research process and to help you find peace of mind. Picking a treatment center should be an informed decision not a leap of faith.
Q: How many people are in a group?
A: We limit our groups to 10 people to offer the most effective therapy for each individual.
Q: How many times will I get to see a therapist every week?
A: Clients attending our IOP Program will have individual appointments once a week, and or as needed. The number of individual sessions a client in our OP program receives per week will depend on their customized treatment plan and their personal progress.
Q: What if I have a job or family and I am not able to commit to the entire length of the commitment?
A: Grassroots understands how busy your life is and therefore offers a Professional Track program. The Professional Track requires more commitment because the program is held outside of normal business hours to cater to clients with other responsibilities. Additionally, Professional Track groups are made up of peers facing similar life situations. Group discussions in the Professional Track program may deal more with stress at work or marital issues at home.
Q: What If I or a loved one suffers from issues other than substance abuse?
A: Grassroots offers therapy for PTSD, trauma, anger management and sexual dependencies.
Q: Who is in charge if I have questions or concerns?
A: A Grassroots employee will be available to clients at any given time. During a typical day at Grassroots a client will have contact with the owner, clinical staff and behavioral technicians. The availability of all staff is something that Grassroots strongly believes in, as it allows issues to be solved before they become problems and creates a greater sense of accountability for our clients.
Q: What happens after treatment?
A: Our treatment plan involves working with every individual to help navigate the opportunities that will come with sobriety. A clear and attainable discharge plan for every client will be laid out by a Case Manager. After leaving our facility the clients will receive the benefits of our post treatment case management department. Clients will have the option of continuing to attend alumni events.
Q: Will I be staying in the same town where I am going to treatment? I would like to become familiar with the meetings and the area where I am going to be in treatment.
A: Yes, our residential locations are located less than ten minutes away from our treatment location. A variety of 12 Step clubhouses are located in this area and we will assist you in finding the right ones and transporting you to them.
The Grassroots Treatment family makes a commitment to every client who chooses our facility. Our Programs are structured around each individual client’s needs. We limit our group size to 10 people to encourage participation and to allow our groups to be an all-inclusive environment. Our PHP clients will see their therapist twice a week for scheduled individual sessions and our IOP clients will be scheduled for once a week.
Grassroots continuum of care offers structure and support throughout a client’s entire stay and beyond. Grassroots offers an open door policy beyond the commitment of the client at no additional cost. Our licensed case management staff assist in post treatment support including resume development, mock job interviews, budgeting and general support for everything other than therapy.
